Q. Who is the 'message hostess' and what does she do?
A. The message hostess delivers notes at THP parties. If you see someone at the party who you want to meet but you are a bit shy you write out a note (paper and pens are supplied), give the note to the message hostess and she delivers the note to the person you specify.
Q. How do the name tags with color dots work?
A. At THP parties members are encouraged to wear name tags with their first name and one or more colored dots indicating who they want to meet that evening. You get the name tags at the door. An orange dot means you want to meet women, a blue dot means men, red means you are interested in couples, black means crossdressers and transvestites, yellow transsexuals and she/males. A green dot is a little different, it means you are a part of a couple. Two green dots mean you are a part of a couple and are looking to meet other couples.
Most people's tags will have their name and a single orange or blue dot.
What is the difference between crossdresssers/transvestites and transsexuals/she-males? It's a matter of degree. Crossdressers are men who like to dress as women sometimes but live their lives mostly as men, transvestites are similar but usually have a female 'persona'. Transsexuals were born male but have had gender assignment surgery and live their lives as women. She-males also live their lives as women.
Q. If I join late in the September does my membership run out at the end of the year?
A. No. THP memberships are always for a full year. You always get 12 full months.
